The Google Takeover

The "Google Takeover" is a very real and impending occurrence. Google, a multi-billion search engine-based internet company, has recently executed a tactic known as vertical integration. This tactic employs a company buying out every aspect of a certain industry. The industry in this case is the internet itself. Google has grown from just a mere search engine. It is now an e-mail provider, a web browser, a cell phone manufacturer, a computer manufacturer, a research database, a cloud storage network, a map, a news provider, a finance broker, a calendar, a library, a video player, a blogging site, and a social network. Those are just some of the things I could come up with off of the top of my head. As a matter of fact, I am a prime example of this Google takeover. For example, I am writing on Blogger, a Google blogging site, which is connected to my Gmail account, an e-mail provider by Google, while I am on Google Chrome, a web browser made by Google. As you can clearly see, the "Google Takeover" is not just a possibility, it is a reality.
